Went to the beach with my friend today where we got stuck in a big rip current and had to dive under big waves and two lifegaurds came to help us…i was already fine and didnt need help but the lifegaurd from the beach and the one from a boat both swam to my friend…it was a very funny moment :)

I have this friendnamed Eva-Lotta visting all the way from Germany! She is 14 just like me and super fun and funny. How did I meet a girl from Germany you might ask? Well, her grandfather and my grandfather went to elementray school together in Germany and they have kept in touch all these years! Isn’t that cool?! Eva’s older sister came out to visit quite a few years ago and now that Eva is old enough she came out here to explore America! It’s been such a blast having her around. She does the craziest sport that I don’t even know how it is possible! She stands on horses and does tricks on them while they are trotting around! I know if I tried to stand on a horse it would not be a pretty sight! She is also one of the most efficent girls I know. She has come down to the past couple contests of mine and she helps me with my wetsuits, jerseys, and keeping myself organized. I’m so glad she is here with us and maybe one day I can go visit her in Germany and she can be the one showing me around and teaching me to stand on horses! :D

I love sailing! Im down at the harbor everyday as an assistant instuctor at westwind sailing! I love it so much and love working with all kids and helping them learn to sail! Last night i did my very first race with my friends kiele and corey. We took 2nd place overall anf had a fantastic time! Can’t wait for the race next tuesday night! :D
